A quail being chased by a hawk
I was phtoographing a big covey of quail when all of a sudden most of them disappeared in the snow covered sagebrush. I wondered if I spooked them but then soon realized a hawk was swooping from behind me and chased this quail that got away by dodging through the sagebrush branches. Very cool experience and lucky my camera caught the focus as they move really fast!
